Swedish Police Failed to Keep Track of Man Behind Paris, Brussels Blasts
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Salah Abdeslam was arrested during a police raid in Brussels on March 18 and formally charged the next day with participating in terrorist murder in connection with the November 13 attacks in Paris.

A police officer in the city of Mechelen had prepared, but not submitted, a confidential report for the Belgian police force's anti-terrorism unit containing an address in Molenbeek on December 7, after being given the information from a colleague on sick leave, La Derniere Heure newspaper reported.

The so-called Committee P, a Belgian body that oversees police conduct, has launched an investigation into the delay in communicating Abdeslam’s whereabouts, according to the newspaper.

On November 13, a series of terrorist attacks were carried out across the French capital, leading to the death of at least 130 people and injuring over 350 others.
