MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Brussels Saint-Luc hospital received 29 victims of the recent explosions in the Belgian capital, five of whom are still being treated for the injuries they sustained, an employee of the medical institution told Sputnik on Wednesday.
"Following yesterday's attack at the airport we have admitted 29 injured. Until now, we still have five people, one remains in critical condition," the hospital employee said.
Belgian Health Minister Maggie De Block confirmed at least 31 deaths and 260 injuries in Tuesday's series of blasts in the departures hall in Brussels international airport and an explosion in a subway carriage in Maelbeek station, close to the EU institutions.
Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders said that people of over 40 nationalities were among those killed or injured in the attacks.
