BRUSSELS (Sputnik) – The European Council will extend without discussion on Thursday sanctions against 146 Russian and Ukrainian nationals, as well as 37 legal entities for undermining Ukraine’s territorial integrity until September 15, an EU source said Monday.
"The decision will be formally approved Thursday, it will be added to the ‘A’ list of issues [issues adopted without discussion] at the council’s session on internal and justice issues. Three people have been excluded from the list as they have died," the diplomatic source told RIA Novosti on condition of anonymity.
According to the source, the sanctions will be extended until September 15.
