The European Social Fund (ESF) does not intend to provide additional financial support to Germany in the near future amid the ongoing refugee crisis, Marianne Thyssen, EU Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labor Mobility, said Sunday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Thyssen, the European Union has already allocated to Germany 7.5 billion (some $8.2 billion) for 2014-2021.

"We cannot transfer more money to Germany to the detriment of other countries, which are less affected by the refugee situation," she said as quoted by Deutsche Welle broadcaster.

However, she noted that the revision of the funding programs scheduled for 2017 could allow Germany to "get a little more" resources.

Germany has become a key destination for hundreds of thousands of refugees and immigrants fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East and North Africa since the start of 2015. The country’s interior ministry estimates that Germany received around 1.1 million migrants last year alone.

another sign of merkel's waning influence
    • Is it because I am black?
She was just on TV, explaining her middle of the road stance and looking good.

The left red-red-green alternative looks untrustworthy to many, with privatisation programmes for schools, playing out migrants against Germans and them again against other migrants, waffle on the environment and on the Middle East...to name but some issues.

So send them back? Not that hard..unless you want to use them to pauperize the population and decreasing the wages..

But I thought that these doctors and scientists who are coming will make Germany even more prosperous than before. Why would Germany need monetary help from EU? :D

Merkle doesn't care who pays, the EU or the German taxc payer, ist anyway not her.
But she invited the People to come, now she herself should take care.
BTW, if there would be new elections, there would no longer be a red-red-green government, newest predictions are between 40 and 45 percent only, see

The source of the problem here is not a lack of funding on the part of Germany and the EU, but the American-led foreign policy of "regime change" which is forcing millions of people to leave their ancestral homeland. Every country on earth should stand up and oppose the policy of "regime change" so that this crime against humanity will stop. The EU is being inundated with refugees from the Middle East and North Africa because of this criminal foreign policy. The EU in and of itself works rather well - most Europeans have absolutely nothing against Europeans from member EU states entering other EU member states as migrants, workers or tourists.

All this money wasted on migrants could very well go to German and other European couples to make more children. In one generation, Europe would thrive again. Instead, they are raising other people's children. I think the term is cuckold in Biology...
