MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Settling the Ukrainian reconciliation crisis has hit a dead end in political aspects, Russia’s envoy to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe said Friday.
“In political aspects, the settlement is obviously in a dead end. Amendments to the constitution, of which our colleagues talk about sometimes, don’t have anything to do with the Minsk agreements. The law on granting [the eastern regions of Donetsk and Luhansk] has been passed, but its implementation with conditions is not covered in the Complex of Measures. The law on amnesty has been prepared, but hasn’t gone into effect. The exchange of prisoners on the all-for-all principle hasn’t happened,” Alexander Lukashevich said.
