Assad: Europe Must Stop Supporting Terrorists to End Migrant Crisis
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The statement added that the detained Syrians had the refugee status in Germany and had unsuccessfully tried to enter Turkey from the territory of Greece.

"During the operational procedures, the loyalty [of the detained] to Daesh as well as their intention to join the terrorist group has been ascertained," the statement said.

More than four million people have been displaced since the Syrian civil war began in 2011, creating the biggest mass migration crisis in Europe.
