MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Austrian law enforcement have detained two men suspected of links to the November Paris attacks that claimed lives of 130 people, media reported Sunday.
According to the Germany's Spiegel magazine, the two detained planned to join the perpetrators of the attacks in the French capital but failed to enter the European Union on time.

The suspects reportedly confessed that they arrived in Greece together with Paris attackers under the guise of
refugees. According to the detained, EU border agency Frontex did not let them in Greece because their passports were forged.
The men managed to cross into the bloc several weeks later, the newspaper said. The suspects were detained in early December in a refugee center in the Austrian city of Salzburg.
