CHISINAU (Sputnik) — An estimated 20,000 to 100,000 people are protesting in the central part of Chisinau, voicing opposition to the country's leadership and calling for snap parliamentary elections. The participants of the rally, organized by a coalition of opposition forces, such as the PSM, as well as Our Party and the Civic Platform Dignity and Truth (DA), have blocked several roads within the capital.

"Like the national and international roads have been blocked today, another national routes will be blocked if they [the authorities] do not accept our claims in the next three days before 16:00 [14:00 GMT] of Thursday," Igor Dodon said.
