Ukraine’s claims that Russia is responsible for cyberattacks, including those against Kiev’s main airport, Boryspil, are dubious, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Saturday, the Boryspil airport’s press service announced that its computer network was infected by a virus. Ukrainian Presidential Administration spokesman Andriy Lysenko said that the attack could have been carried out by Russia.

"I don’t know whether there have been any requests, I don’t know about any attacks, and given the tendency to accuse Russia of all sins, which frequently takes place in Ukraine, I can only express grave doubt about such statements," Peskov told reporters.

Russia’s relations with Ukraine deteriorated greatly amid the crisis in the country’s southeast. Kiev accused Moscow of meddling in its internal affairs.

Moscow repeatedly denied such allegations, and has urged for a peaceful settlement of the armed conflict in Ukraine.
