Gazprom Mulls Joint Energy Projects With Iran After Sanctions Removal
VIENNA (Sputnik) Russian energy company Gazprom expects to supply some 160 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe this year, thus repeating its 2015 export numbers, Gazprom Board of Directors Chairman Viktor Zubkov said Wednesday.

"Over the past three years, Gazprom has delivered 467 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe, it's hard to say what it will be this year, but we are counting on around 160 billion cubic meters," Zubkov said.

He added that gas prices continued to reflect trends in the oil market.

"The gas price for Gazprom in the first quarter of 2015 amounted to $284 per 1,000 cubic meters, while, according to available estimates, in the first quarter of 2016 it could stand at $180," he stressed.

According to the company, Gazprom gas exports in 2015 to countries other than those of the former Soviet Union amounted to 159.4 billion cubic meters, which is 8 percent more than in 2014.
