Ukraine Imposes 7-Month Embargo on Russian Goods

The Ukrainian government bans the import of goods originating from Russia to the Ukrainian customs territory, according to released document.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Ukrainian government has imposed an embargo on certain Russian goods that will stay in place until August 5, according to a document released Saturday.

"To ban until August 5, 2016 the import of goods originating from Russia to the Ukrainian customs territory," the document read.

The regulation comes into being on January 10, 2016.
