Ukraine’s Central Bank and Poland have agreed on the opening of a 1-billion-euro credit line.

KIEV (Sputnik) – Ukraine’s Central Bank and Poland have agreed on the opening of a 1-billion-euro credit line, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said Tuesday.

“I can announce that negotiations were held between the head of Ukraine’s National Bank…and the head of the Polish bank…and an agreement was reached and I was informed by the head of the National Bank of the opening of a credit line-swap of 4 billion zlotys, or 1 billion euros, which will be used in the trade turnover between Ukraine and Poland,” Poroshenko said during a joint briefing with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Kiev.
