BELGRADE (Sputnik) – A meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic began Thursday on the sidelines of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) summit in the Serbian capital of Belgrade.
Serbia, which currently holds the OSCE Chairmanship, is organizing the Ministerial Council conference that kicked off on Thursday and is scheduled to last for two days. The annual conference provides the foreign ministers of the 57 OSCE participating states with an opportunity to assess the organization's activities during the past year and to work out stances on global security matters.
