    BBC's New Broadcasting House was evacuated following the alert was attributed to a suspicious vehicle parked, according to police statement.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — BBC's New Broadcasting House and surrounding offices were evacuated Tuesday over a bomb threat in Central London, the Metropolitan Police said.

    According to the police, cited by The Independent newspaper, the alert was attributed to a suspicious vehicle parked at Portland Place and was followed by a full evacuation.

    The media added that the staff had not been allowed to return to the buildings while the investigation was underway.
