Only 15 out of 70 bus drivers in the Molenbeek district agreed to work on Monday, according to RTL broadcaster.

BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — Only 15 out of 70 bus drivers in the Molenbeek municipality located in the Brussels' region went to work on Monday, fearing possible attacks as Brussels remains at the highest terror threat level, media reported.

"Drivers are in fear, only 10-15 out of 70 went to work," an employee of the local bus fleet was quoted as saying by the RTL broadcaster.

On Saturday, authorities raised the terror alert level in Brussels to level 4, the highest possible, in the wake of attacks in Paris earlier this month, in which 130 people were killed.

Belgian police have carried out a series of anti-terrorist raids detaining a number of people in Brussels, after one of the Paris attackers was spotted in Belgium. At least 16 suspects have been arrested, according to media reports, however a main suspect remains at large.
