ANKARA (Sputnik) — According to the TRT television's sources in the law enforcement agency, during a terrorist attack on October 10, the Ankara General Prosecutor's Office found information on the preparation of ISIL terror attacks at the G20 summit in the suspects' computers.
The Islamic State planned to conduct terror attacks using suicide bombers in hotels where the leaders of the G20 were expected to stay, in shopping malls and Antalya's night clubs.
Earlier, media reported that a suspected Islamic State jihadist blew himself up in the Turkish city of Gaziantep near the Syrian border during a police raid on November 14. The incident took place ahead of the G20 summit in Antalya.
