Paris Advocates Rapprochement With Moscow in Anti-Terrorism Issues
BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — EU leaders are expected to discuss counter-terrorism measures after Paris terror attacks on the European council meeting on December 17-18, Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn said Tuesday.

“We have contributed to the preparation of the European Council on December 17-18. It is obvious that terror attacks in Paris and fight with terrorism will dominate the agenda,” Asselborn told reporters.

Asselborn said that the agenda of the meeting would include migration crisis, single market and relations between Russia and Ukraine.

He added that during the meeting, UK Prime Minister David Cameron would probably make his proposals on the EU reform to prevent the possible exit of the United Kingdom from the bloc.

On November 13, extremists wearing explosive belts attacked several venues across Paris, killing some 130 people and injuring hundreds more at restaurants, the Bataclan concert hall and in the vicinity of the Stade de France stadium. The Islamic State militant group claimed responsibility for the attacks.
