Belgrade will provide the easternmost Bosnian municipality of Srebrenica with over $5 million (5 million euros) in donations and investment, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Wednesday.

BELGRADE (Sputnik) — Bosnian leaders have thanked Vucic for the aid.

"This morning, the Serbian government decided to allocate 5 million euros for Srebrenica… On Monday, 2 million euro will be transferred to the municipality's account. Our companies will implement projects for another 3 million, the money is ready," Vucic told the Srebrenica 2015 Investment and Development Conference.

During a previous visit to Srebrenica in July, Vucic was chased out of a ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre by an angry crowd of Bosnian Muslims, who attacked him with sticks and stones.
