    Ukraine Arrests Ex-Justice Minister Lukash Over Deadly Maidan Clashes

    The judge said Lukash could be released on a 5.6-million hryvna ($220,000) bail.

    KIEV (Sputnik) — A Kiev district court authorized on Friday the arrest of former Ukrainian Justice Minister Elena Lukash until December 29 on suspicion of her involvement in the crimes on Maidan Square in Kiev.

    "A request by investigators for the arrest of Elena Lukash to be satisfied," a judge announce in the court room.
