MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Thousands of people have taken to the streets of Paris to draw the authorities' attention to the problem of violence and racism in the country, local media reported Saturday.
People attended the so-called March of Dignity, carrying posters saying "no to racism," radio station Europe 1 said.
According to the radio station, the march was organized by women's human rights group.
The march was held in commemoration of two youths of Arab origin, who were shot dead in the city while trying to hide from police ten years ago.
