MOSCOW (Sputnik) — "The [anti-terrorist] operation on the territory of Spain has resulted in four arrests, two men and two women, in towns of Toledo, Barcelona and Valencia. Meanwhile, six people have been arrested in Morocco. The arrested were part of a network, which operated mainly in Spain and Morocco to radicalize, indoctrinate and recruit new fighters, mainly women, for DAESH [IS]," the statement said.

According to the statement, the anti-terrorist operation is still underway.

ISIL is a militant group in control of large areas of Syria and Iraq. The group is notorious for its brutality and many human rights violations, as well as for recruiting people from all over the world via social networks.
