Belgian Parliament Evacuated After Bomb Alert
09:05 GMT 23.09.2015 (Updated: 09:19 GMT 23.09.2015) The Belgian parliament was evacuated early Wednesday following a bomb alert, the leader of the Green Party group at the lower-house Chamber of Representatives said.
BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — Nollet told the local Le Soir newspaper that police were searching the historic part of the parliament building in Brussels.
"Bomb alert at the Belgian Chamber. The old section has been evacuated… The personnel has gathered in the royal park," parliamentarian Jean-Marc Nollet said on Twitter.
