MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Current policies carried out by Kiev authorities in relation to self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics lead to further alienation of from the rest of the country, ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a news briefing in Moscow.
"Such policies, based on complete disregard of legitimate rights and demands of Donbass residents, as well as a total absence of dialogue between Kiev and Donetsk and Lugansk, lead to further alienation of the region," Zakharova stressed.
"The UN experts note Kiev's lack of political will to overcome the serious humanitarian crisis in Donbass and its stubborn refusal to help their own citizens, who are in desperate need of support."
