MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker called on the EU member states to resettle a total of 160,000 migrants throughout the bloc over the next two years.
"Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, in cahoots with French President Francois Hollande, drew up this plan and she is now trying to force this on Mr. Juncker and the whole European Union, this is what democracy means in practice in the European Union," Marcel de Graaff told journalists.
The announced number of migrants does not correspond to reality, de Graaff said, adding that Europe should expect not hundreds of thousands but several million migrants.
He pointed to the threat of thousands of terrorists and militants arriving in the bloc under the guise of refugees.
