MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Trilateral Contact Group on Ukrainian reconciliation will hold on September 1 in Minsk a video conference to assess the implementation of the ceasefire in Donbass, a spokeswoman for Kiev's reconciliation negotiator Leonid Kuchma said Friday.
"The main task of the participants of the Trilateral Contact Group is to verify in real-time whether the mutual obligations on the full-fledged ceasefire are fulfilled," Dariia Olifer wrote on her Facebook page.
She added that all Contact Group representatives — Martin Sajdik (OSCE), Azamat Kulmukhametov (Russia) and Leonid Kuchma (Ukraine) — are expected to arrive in Kiev to take part in the conference.
Kiev authorities and Donbass militias agreed to a ceasefire under the Minsk deal reached in February. However, both sides have since accused each other of violating the truce.
