At least 7 people were killed and 15 injured as a plane crashed on Saturday on the A27 road near the Shoreham-by-Sea town in West Sussex, southern Britain, during an air show, the BBC reported citing South East Coast Ambulance Service.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The accident occurred when the Hawker Hunter plane was conducting aerobatic maneuvers.

This is not the first deadly accident that happened at Shoreham Air Show. In 2007 a World War II Hurricane crashed during the reenactment of the Battle of Britain.

A Hawker Hunter is a subsonic British plane that was introduced in 1954 and was used by the British Air Forces until the 1990s.
