Cameron is expected to urge ministers and officials to quickly ameliorate the crisis at the Calais port, the closest French geographic point to the United Kingdom, the Daily Express newspaper reported.
Earlier, Cameron stated that a "swarm" of migrants attempting to enter the United Kingdom were responsible for the chaos at Calais. He threatened to deport more people from Britain.
The Channel Tunnel is a 31.4-mile rail tunnel between Folkestone, Kent, in the United Kingdom and Coquelles, near Calais, in northern France. According to the French Interior Ministry, Calais is currently home to some 3,000 migrants, mainly from North African countries, living out of doors in squalid tent camps near the transit zone.
On Tuesday, the UK Home Office announced it would allocate some $10.9 million to strengthen Channel Tunnel security and end the migrant crisis in Calais. British authorities have confirmed plans to build a new 1.2-mile fence around the Eurotunnel area near the French port.
