"Several thousands of demonstrators have tried to block the road for the second time today, but they are being evicted now," Simon Ernst said.
He added that there were no injuries to protesters on Sunday after several people were injured by a chemical substance, which was used by police on Saturday, according to the organizers.
Organizers said that more than 7,500 people gathered in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a mountain resort town, just a few miles away from the Schloss Elmau hotel, to protest against the G7 policies.
Police put the number of protesters at around 3,600.
The 41st G7 summit will bring together leaders of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Russia will not attend the event as its participation in the group’s meetings was suspended in March 2014.
