    Ukrainian forces began intense shelling early Wednesday morning along the entire contact line, killing at least 15 Donbass independence supporters, self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic's Defense Minister Vladimir Kononov said Wednesday.

    KIEV (Sputnik) – At least five Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another 39 injured over the last 24 hours in Donetsk, Ukrainian Presidential Aide Yuri Biryukov said Thursday.

    “The final figures on battle losses during the last 24 hours: 5 dead (4 in Marinka), 39 injured,” Biryukov said on his Facebook page.
