A Special Monitoring Mission by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe has reported the presence of a spate of tanks and guns in government-controlled areas in eastern Ukraine, in violation of the Minsk ceasefire agreement.

Five 100mm anti-tank guns MT-12 and five main battle tanks T-64 have been spotted in government-controlled areas of eastern Ukraine by a Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, in violation of the Minsk ceasefire agreement.

Also, the SMM observed the ongoing ceasefire violations in and around airport in the city of Donetsk.

The Minsk ceasefire agreement was signed in Belorusian capital Minsk on February 11, 2015. The document stipulates, among other things, the conflicting sides withdrawing heavy weapons from the front line.
