According to the latest results, Conservatives are currently leading with 206 seats won, leaving the Labour Party behind with 194 in the UK’s general election.

Labour Slightly Ahead With Half of Votes Counted in UK General Election
LONDON (Sputnik) The Conservatives are currently leading with 206 seats won, leaving the Labour Party behind with 194, according to the latest results in the United Kingdom’s general election.

The majority of ballots have already been counted in the country’s 650 voting districts.

A party needs at least 323 seats in the parliament to form a majority government.

UK Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne, Conservative, has secured his seat in the parliament, having taken the majority of votes in the Tatton constituency.

The Conservatives gained 26,552 votes in Tatton, while the Labour garnered 8,311 votes.
