MOSCOW (Sputnik) — British counterterrorism police arrested a man from Colnbrook village in south east England suspected of fundraising for terrorist purposes, UK media reported Thursday.
The 30-year-old suspect was detained Thursday morning, according to the Slough Express newspaper.
Shortly afterwards, the man was brought to a central London police station. He is still in custody, according to the British media outlet.
An investigation and searches are currently underway.
