On the sidelines, the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy and the Migration Committee will hold a joint hearing on Ukraine's prospects for peace.
The meeting is expected to involve the head of UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, Armen Harutyunyan, President of Donetsk Public Organization Alliance Svitlana Zakrevska and the head of the Board of Center for Civil Liberties of Ukraine, Oleksandra Matvichuk.
After lunch, the lawmakers of greater Europe will debate discrimination against transgender people in Europe. The report will be presented by Maltese lawmaker Deborah Schembri. Minister for Social Dialogue, Consumer Affairs and Liberties of Malta Helena Dalli will make a statement on the report.
Another debate scheduled for the afternoon sitting of the Assembly is entitled "Social services in Europe: legislation and practice of the removal of children from their families in Council of Europe member States." The rapporteurs are Russia's parliamentarian Olga Borzova and Ukraine's Olena Sotnyk.
This year's PACE spring session began on April 20 and will last until April 24. The participants have already discussed mass surveillance and are expected to talk about protection of human rights, sanctions against Russia, and the humanitarian crimes by the Islamic State extremist group, among the other topics.
