German media welcomed Maidan events in Ukraine, but are condemning anti-austerity protests in Frankfurt now, demonstrating double standards, German Bundestag MP Heike Hensel claims.
"Propaganda against Blockupy,” she posted on Twitter. “Gusts of smoke during Maidan in Kiev were for the media a sign of the liberation movement."

Blockupy is a left-wing political group protesting EU austerity policies, particularly those recently imposed on Greece.
The protest took place on Wednesday in Frankfurt and gathered about 8,500.
