The shooting broke out amid a confrontation between two groups at Field’s, the country's largest shopping center, TV2 Denmark reported, citing Copenhagen police.
"I can see a person on the ground who has been shot. There is a lot of armed police here," a witness told the news outlet.

Three people have been detained after a shooting at a mall in Denmark's capital, Copenhagen, local police told Sputnik on Wednesday.
"We have right now three arrested and three injured persons, who are also going to be arrested," a spokesman for the Copenhagen police said.
Two of the three people injured in the incident were shot, while the third was stabbed, he added. "It seems that two gang-related groups were fighting in the shopping mall. When they got down to the parking area, several shots were fired, and they also used knives."
The mall's visitors are not allowed to leave the area, and a special police force has arrived at the scene, according to local media reports.
Last month, Copenhagen saw two terror attacks, when an Islamist gunman opened fire at a free speech seminar and then at a synagogue, killing two civilians.
