MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Police, fire brigades and emergency services have been deployed to the Palace of Westminster in London after a man scaled the roof of the House of Commons, local media reported.
"At 9.15pm officers were made aware of a man trespassing on the roof at the Palace of Westminster," a Scotland Yard spokesperson said as quoted by the BBC.
The man on the roof has not been identified yet. The reason why he climbed the roof is also unknown.
The roof of the House of Commons was previously targeted by several campaign groups, including the Greenpeace.
