DONETSK (Sputnik) – The eastern Ukrainian self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic has asked the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to pass on to Kiev information that the DPR has withdrawn its heavy artillery in hope that Kiev will follow suit, the DPR’s militia deputy commander said Friday.
“Kiev has announced that it is withdrawing its weapons after we do. We will turn to the OSCE so that it lets Kiev know that we’ve already done this,” Eduard Basurin told journalists.
