Ukrainian Forces Continue Shelling Debaltseve Region - Donetsk HQ

According to self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic’s headquarters, Ukrainian forces are firing and shelling Debaltseve region.

DONETSK (Sputnik) – Eastern Ukrainian military forces have not noted any shelling of their positions or any shelling of cities by Ukrainian forces, a source in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic’s headquarters said Wednesday.

“There was not a single strike against the positions of the people’s militia forces or against populous areas of [eastern Ukraine] by Ukrainian forces,” the source said, adding that the situation remains tense.

The source said, however, that “Ukrainian forces are actively firing and shelling in the Debaltseve region.”
