Coulibaly have recorded seven minutes of the attack, covering the killing of three people out of four, according to French reporter Eric Pelletier cited by CNN. A source in US intelligence confirmed the information.

The terrorist managed to email the video of the attack shot with a camera fixed on his torso, using a computer at the shop, before police killed him, the reporter said.

The attack at the food shop was one of a series that took place in France between January 7 and January 9, taking the lives of 17 people. The first attack was carried out in Charlie Hebdo office, with suspected Islamic extremists gunning down the editor-in-chief and other journalists of the magazine, known for cartoons satirizing popular religious and political figures, among them the Prophet Muhammad.

A day before carrying out the attack at the shop, Coulibaly, who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, killed a police officer.
