As a result of a mortar striking a trolley bus stop in Donetsk, 13 people were killed and dozens of people were injured, according to the authorities of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic.

DONETSK, January 22 (Sputnik) – At least 13 people have been killed and dozens injured after a mortar struck a trolley bus stop in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk, Donetsk News Agency reported Thursday citing authorities in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic.

“As a result of a mortar striking a trolley bus stop in the Lenin Region of Donetsk this morning, 13 people were killed and dozens of people were injured,” the news agency said.
