Formed at the request of Donetsk and Luhansk authorities, it is the seventh one that Russia has sent to Donbas.

ROSTOV REGION (Russia), November 16 (Sputnik) — All the trucks of the Russian humanitarian aid convoy have crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border and entered Russia's Rostov Region, a Sputnik reporter said.

The convoy has delivered humanitarian aid for Donbas region in eastern Ukraine.

The trucks have gone through all the official procedures at the checkpoint Matveev-Kurgan, crossed the border and composed a convoy for further movement, Sputnik reporter detailed.

The convoy consists of 70 trucks that have brought to Donetsk and Luhansk 450 tons of cargo. Formed at the request of Donetsk and Luhansk authorities, it is the seventh one that Russia has sent to Donbas.

The previous six convoys have delivered foodstuffs, water, power generators and medication, as well as warm clothes and winter supplies for the residents of war-ridden Donetsk and Luhansk ahead of the approaching winter.

In April, Kiev forces started military operation against independence supporters in eastern Ukraine. The ceasefire Minsk agreement reached by the conflicting sides on September 5 has been repeatedly violated. Therefore, Ukraine's southeastern regions are mired in a severe humanitarian catastrophe.
