MOSCOW, November 9 (RIA Novosti) — An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 has been registered Sunday off the Greek coast, US Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
At 01:15 local time (23:15 GMT, November 8) a 5.2-magnitude earthquake occurred 8 kilometers (about 5 miles) away from Lixouri town in the west of Kefalonia island, Greece. The earthquake's seismic focus was at the depth of 16 kilometers (about 9 miles).
There have been no reports of casualties, damages or a tsunami alert.
