Hurricane Matthew Kills Almost 340 in Caribbean - Reports

At least 339 people have died as a result of Hurricane Matthew in the Caribbean, mostly in Haiti, the ABC television network reports.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Meanwhile Haiti’s Civil Protection Agency for the South (Sud) department has put the death toll from the storm at 264.

According to Radio Television Caraibes, 283 people have died in Haiti amid the hurricane.

Hurricane Matthew, the most damaging storm to hit the Caribbean in a decade, is currently moving toward Florida's Atlantic coast.
