At least one person is feared dead and 21 injured in northeastern India after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck the border region with Myanmar.
US Geological Survey reported that a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck the city of Imphal in India near the Myanmar border. It has been reported that the quake was 57 kilometres deep.
Four people were killed and 100 injured, Associated Press reported.

The city of Imphal is the the capital of the Indian state of Manipur with population over 400,000 people. There have been reports of multiple destructions on social media.
