    Spanish authorities have compiled a list of Catalan separatists which includes a popular footballer who vocally supported the region's drive for independence.

    Catalonia-born soccer star and Manchester City manager Josep 'Pep' Guardiola has attracted the attention of Spanish authorities for reading a manifesto in support of Catalans' right to hold a referendum on the region's independence at a rally on June 11, which apparently made him subject to investigation for 'rebelling'.
