Famed talk show host Charlie Rose is the latest public figure to be accused of sexual misconduct and, as a result, both PBS and CBS have terminated their relationships with him.

    Wilting Rose

On Monday evening, The Washington Post published an article detailing sexual misconduct allegations against Rose by eight women. Rose is accused of exhibitionism, groping, lewd phone calls, unwanted sexual advances, firing women who exposed his advances, and more.

Rose promptly released a public apology for the times he "behaved insensitively," but added that he does "not believe that all of these allegations are accurate."

Fewer than 24 hours after the Post story, CBS News released a statement on Twitter announcing the termination of the talk show host's employment. Shortly after, PBS revealed they would no longer be distributing Rose's show.

      Tweets Over Grief

Shortly after the mass shootings that claimed 31 lives, injured dozens, and ravaged the cities of El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, US President Donald Trump urged the nation to come together while proclaiming that his past rhetoric “brings people together.” Some would beg to differ.
