The US Air Force's study of biomarkers does not target Russians and is purely aimed at carrying out a musculoskeletal research for identifying the different biomarkers associated with injury, according to the spokesman for Air Education and Training Command, Captain Beau Downey.
Earlier, the Kremlin had questioned the purpose of the US collecting biological material from Russian citizens.
