The US will pursue a "better deal," Trump promised, adding that cutting greenhouse gas emissions is too costly for American companies. Trump said Washington will commence renewed negotiations on a new agreement "if we can, and if we can't, that's fine."
Up until now, the only two countries that didn't formally participate in the Paris Agreement were Syria and Nicaragua.
