A new music video from rapper Snoop Dogg, which features him firing a gun at a clownish parody of President Trump, has attracted controversy and criticism- including from the President himself.

"Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!" Trump tweeted. Others such as Senator Marco Rubio have echoed Trump's criticism.

The gun in the video did not actually fire- instead, a tiny flag that says "Bang!" on it came out of the muzzle, Joker style.
