DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz has announced an investigation into "allegations that the Department or FBI policies or procedures were not followed" during the investigation of Hillary Clinton. The conduct of FBI Director James Comey will in particular be scrutinized, as well as if the release of "certain… documents… were influenced by improper considerations."
